This is a hands‐on, site‐based role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring strong environmental outcomes, regulatory compliance, and positive community engagement throughout project delivery.If you enjoy being embedded in delivery teams, influencing outcomes on the ground, and working collaboratively with construction leaders this role will suit you.About the roleYou will support and provide practical, compliant and timely environmental advice across all stages of construction.
Your focus will be on supporting implementing and maintaining environmental management systems, supporting project teams, and ensuring compliance with approvals, legislation and client requirements.Key responsibilities include:Providing onsite environmental leadership and advice across live construction activitiesPreparing, reviewing and implementing Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub‐plans and Environmental Work Method StatementsSupporting compliance with environmental licences, approvals, permits and project conditionsConducting inspections, audits and monitoring activities, and supporting corrective actionsDelivering environmental inductions, toolbox talks and targeted trainingManaging environmental controls,
monitoring effectiveness and coordinating maintenanceSupporting sustainability data collection and reporting (water, waste, fuel, energy, materials)Leading community and stakeholder engagement activities, including complaint and enquiry managementMentoring and supporting project‐based environmental staffContributing to continuous improvement, innovation and best practice across projectsAbout youYou're a confident and practical environmental professional who understands the realities of construction delivery and knows how to balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
