We're growing our crew and looking for skilled, motivated Mechanical Fitters who want consistent and reliable work without sacrificing their weekends.The lifestyle roster:Local DIDO options available - whatever suits where you're basedLocal Mackay-region candidates: drive in / drive out,40 to 48 hours per weekMackay Region-based or drivable distanceThis roster exists because we think you can earn well and be home Friday night.
Your ongoing reliable availability and can do attitude is all that we are after in returnThe work - diverse, genuinely interesting:You won't be stuck on one piece of plant - we get involved in fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns and breakdown response for:Crushers, sizers and feedersScreens, chutes and transfer pointsPumps, hydraulics and rotating equipmentCHPP and associated fixed plantFault-finding, troubleshooting and mechanical repair across multiple sitesDifferent sites, different challenges, real variety - not the same job every swing.What you'll bring - Essential:Trade Certificate (Cert III)



- Engineering Mechanical (Fitter)Proven experience in coal or heavy industrial fixed plant maintenanceStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on large, fixed plantAustralian working rights (citizen, PR or unrestricted work visa) - must be verifiableA genuine team-player attitude - we run tight, respectful crews and culture matters hereStrong safety mindset - works to JSEAs, SWMS and site safety systems because it's how we work, not because your being told by your supervisor.Queensland Coal Board Medical (current)Standard 11 Generic Coal Induction (current)Working at HeightsConfined Space EntryGas Test AtmospheresRigging (Basic / Intermediate) and DoggingEWP / Scissor LiftFirst Aid / LVR / CPRGot the trade and the right attitude but missing tickets?
