Join us and be part of a team that's shaping the future of transport in Australia.About the OpportunityReporting to the Work Group Leader Signals,you will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity, safety, andefficiency of a designated section of the rail corridor.
This position involveshands-on technical work as well as contributing to continuous improvement andteam capability.Install, modify, maintain, and repair signalling and communications equipment in line with technical maintenance plans, signalling standards, and safe working proceduresConduct inspections and testing of signalling equipment, diagnoseand isolate faults, and ensure all required certifications are completedaccuratelyInstall and maintain mechanical signalling, locking, andinterlocking systemsMaintain signalling infrastructure, including aerialtelecommunications lines and cablingRespond promptly to emergencies and equipment irregularities,ensuring systems are safely restored to serviceIdentify and recommend improvements to maintenance practices andwork processesSupervise and train team members to ensure compliance withsignalling standards and safe work practicesWhat do we want from you?




Qualified Signal Electrician with relevant trade or technical experience.Knowledge and practical ability to implement rail safety management, OHS principles, and electrical codes of practice.Experienced in field fault finding, maintenance, and repair of signalling systems.To work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Skilled in applying quality systems, policies, and procedures.Driver's Licence – Class CARTC Statement of Competency (Signals) or proven ability to attain via Signals Competency Assessment.What will you get from us?
