We have vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital's Admissions and Wards.

With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.Key Responsibilities – Administration Officer:Answer and redirect callsOrganise appointments and prepare admission paperworkConduct follow-up requests and make reminder calls for visitsMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsManage the collection of excesses/co paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryEnsuring efficient functioning of our AdministrationGreet all patients/families/visitorsHandle enquires in a friendly and professional mannerManage clerical and administrative responsibilities such as prostheses billingMaintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical recordsAssist nursing staff with indirect patient care under the supervision of Nurse ManagersDemonstrated experience in administrative tasks with customer focused approach to service deliveryProven flexibility and reliabilityProven effective communication and liaison skillsDemonstrated written communication skillsInitiative and ability to problem solveDemonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multi-disciplinary environment, treats everyone with courtesy and respect, respond positively to requests for assistanceAbility to use patient information and record systems and a commitment to patient confidentialityStrong computer skills and willingness to learn and use patient management systems and databasesAvailable to work 3-4 days per week including Thursday and FridayExcellent interpersonal and qualified communication skillsHighly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailExperience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Works well independently and within a teamWebPas Hospital system experience (desired)Medical Secretary Experience (desired)Why Healthscope?
