Our customers rely on us every day to transport sensitive freight where safety, compliance and reliability are non-negotiable.As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a proactive HSE Officer to join our national team.
This is a hands-on operational role supporting our depots, managers and employees to maintain safe workplaces, meet legislative requirements and continue building a positive safety culture.If you're someone who enjoys being out in the business, working alongside operational teams and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleReporting to the General Manager and Executive Leadership Team, you'll provide day-to-day health, safety and environmental support across our national operations.This is an operational support position focused on helping managers implement safety systems, maintain compliance and improve workplace safety.
The role does not have direct management responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport managers in implementing WHS policies and procedures.Conduct workplace inspections and depot safety audits.Coordinate incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.Maintain WHS documentation, registers and compliance records.Assist with hazard identification,



risk assessments and SWMS reviews.Coordinate inductions, toolbox talks and safety training.Support environmental compliance initiatives.Provide practical WHS advice to operational teams.Travel nationally to support depots and continuous improvement initiatives.About YouYou'll be a practical safety skilled who enjoys working with people and helping managers improve safety outcomes.You'll bring:Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislationExperience conducting workplace inspections and incident investigationsStrong administration and organisational skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCurrent driver's licenceWillingness to travel nationallyHighly regarded:Transport or logistics industry experienceDiploma of Work Health & SafetyInternal Auditor qualificationReturn to Work Coordinator experienceWhy Join TSS Sensitive Freight?
