This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement.Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, safe warehouse operations, production support, and on-time dispatch performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and coordinate a team of three forklift driversOversee daily warehouse operations including receivables, storage, inventory movements and dispatchEnsure compliance with GMP, HACCP,



food safety and quality standardsMaintain accurate inventory records and stock control processesCoordinate raw material supply to production and finished goods movementsConduct cycle counts and assist with stocktakesMonitor warehouse KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiativesEnsure all warehouse activities comply with company safety policies and proceduresSupport workforce planning, training and performance managementLiaise closely with Production, Quality and Supply Chain teamsAbout YouPrevious experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Storeperson role - playing a lead role within a warehousing environment of a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing company is ideal with room to progress into a Warehouse Manager role in the futureExperience within food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or other regulated industries highly regardedCurrent forklift licence (LF) with strong operating experience as well as reach truck and counter balance experienceProven ability to lead and motivate small teams understanding the big picture whilst still being hands onStrong inventory management and warehouse systems experienceSound understanding of workplace health and safety requirementsExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentIntermediate computer skills across ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, NetSuite etcWhat's On OfferPermanent full-time positionStable and growing manufacturing businessSupportive leadership team and positive workplace cultureOpportunity to make a genuine impact and drive improvementsSouth-east Melbourne location with onsite parkingCompetitive salary package based on experienceIMPORTANT: It is a requirement of all our jobs that you have a PR or AU/NZ Citizenship.A work visa is not sufficient as all our jobs are permanent.
