About the Job
Shire of Mundaring is seeking motivated and community-focused Rangers to join our Community Safety team on a casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified, experienced Rangers looking for flexible work arrangements while contributing to the safety and wellbeing of the local community.
Casual Rangers may be engaged to cover leave absences, weekends, peak periods and other operational gaps within the Shire's Community Safety team.
While there are no immediate opportunities for regularly rostered shifts, the Shire are exploring the potential to collaborate with neighbouring local governments to establish a shared casual pool of Rangers.
This initiative may provide access to additional work options.
As a Casual Ranger, you will engage with residents, investigate compliance matters,



enforce relevant legislation and local laws, and assist with animal management and pound operations.
You will play an key role in promoting community safety, providing education and support to the public, and contributing to a safe and well-managed community environment.
