Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Location: Southern Adelaide based/Mobile Role Employment: Casual, with full-time available for the right applicantPay: $***** per hour
Field One Mobile Mechanical is seeking a qualified and reliable Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our field service team.
This position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role for the right applicant.
You will service, diagnose and repair a fleet of trucks, trailers, heavy equipment or machinery, helping ensure it remains safe, reliable and ready for operation for our clients.
Your responsibilities
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Inspect vehicles and equipment and identify required repairs
Attend breakdowns when required




Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work meets safety and quality requirements
Maintain a clean and organised work area
About you
You will have:
A relevant Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant trade qualification
Experience maintaining heavy vehicles or machinery
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A current HR licence
A robust commitment to workplace safety
The ability to work independently and within a team
Good communication and time-management skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
Auto-electrical experience, refrigerant handling licence or forklift licence would be advantageous.
