Job DescriptionDynamic Recruitment Independent Steel Company Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their team.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) where the Storeperson will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of steel products and rural supplies across our main operational centre.
This is a hands-on role requiring physical capability, strong attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to workplace safety.
Benefits Competitive salary of $72,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Locally owned business with direct access to experienced manager and the company owner Stable, long-term employment with a reputable steel supplier operating for over 25 years Supportive team environment with clear procedures and reliable stock availability Opportunity to work across a diverse range of steel, fencing, and roofing products Task & responsibilities Receive, unload, and check incoming steel products, fencing materials, and roofing supplies Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for collection or delivery Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct stock counts, and report discrepancies Assist with saw-cutting and basic steel processing tasks as required Ensure the yard is organised, clean, and compliant with WHS requirements Provide friendly, practical customer service to builders, fabricators, rural operators,



and walk-in customers Follow company procedures for safe handling of steel and heavy loads Support delivery loading and unloading activities in coordination with drivers Qualification & experience Must hold full Australian Driver's licence Mimimum 1 year experience as a Storeperson or Warehouse Assistant Experience working with steel products, construction materials, or rural supplies is highly desirable Ability to safely lift and handle heavy materials Strong understanding of WHS practices in the working environment Basic computer skills for stock management and order processing Good communication skills and ability to work in a small, hands-on team Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
