And Cafe is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join its kitchen team.
The business is known for serving quality meals prepared with fresh ingredients and maintaining consistent food standards.
The successful candidate will support the preparation and cooking of dishes, maintain consistent food quality and presentation, and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
The Cook will work closely with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operations and provide an enjoyable dining experience for customers.
Previous experience in a similar role and a passion for cooking are essential.

Check ingredients and food products for freshness, quality, and suitability before use.
Assist in planning menus and calculating required food quantities when necessary.
Adjust seasoning and flavours during preparation and cooking to maintain consistent taste and quality.




Safely store food in appropriate temperature-controlled conditions while following food safety requirements.
Operate ovens, grills, and other cooking appliances, ensuring correct temperatures are maintained.
Prepare suitable meals for customers with special dietary needs or specific food requirements.
Accurately portion meals, arrange food on plates, and finish dishes with appropriate sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
Provide guidance, training, and support to junior kitchen employees and apprentices when required.
Qualification & experience Minimum of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent or equivalent work experience Minimum 1 year of experience in related field.
In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
