The Opportunity (Field Service)
We're looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Field Service team, supporting a up-to-date fleet on site.
You'll be trusted to diagnose, repair and maintain equipment to a high standard — with the tools, technology and support to do it right.
Field-based diagnostics, breakdown response and scheduled servicing
Fault finding across diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrain, braking and electrical systems
High-quality repairs with strong attention to safety, workmanship and compliance
Clear job card notes, service reporting and component history updates
Work collaboratively with operations to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Roster & Travel
2/2 roster: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
FIFO-style travel: ex Australian capital cities




Accommodation and meals provided while on shift (site dependent)
What You'll Need
Australian recognised trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Plant Mechanic
Solid experience on heavy mobile equipment in mining, earthmoving or construction environments
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work autonomously in the field
HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence — essential
A proactive safety mindset and clear communication in a high-tempo environment
Highly regarded (but not essential):
High-risk tickets (e.g., EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights)
First Aid
OEM exposure and strong component change-out experience
