About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to support the smooth operation of our site.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will coordinate facilities services, maintenance programs, contractors, compliance requirements, and minor projects, while acting as a trusted onsite resource for day-to-day operations.
Key duties include:
Support our aviation, property, commercial, and project delivery teams with facilities management guidance, contractor management, permit to work process.
Asset and statutory compliance - schedule, track, coordinate, audit, and record our planned maintenance activities across building, airfield, grounds, fire, hydraulic, electrical, HVAC, and baggage handling equipment.
Triage and assess priority of reactive maintenance items, coordinate any make safe or interim arrangements, engage trades, coordinate access and oversee repairs.
Understand maintenance contracts including cleaning and grounds overseeing delivery of works onsite,



check works against contracted scope, ensure quality and records of service are met, attend contract reviews, hold and record joint site inspections.
Implement the permit to work process and ensure compliance.
Collecting and reviewing insurances, SWMS, licenses along with organising permits onsite.
Active management of works onsite auditing performance and delivery in line with agreed methodology and WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.
Review and monitor building management systems including mechanical, hydraulic, lighting, and fire systems.
Assess and investigate faults, alarms, trends.
Support the Head of Facilities in the delivery of minor capital and asset rehabilitation project delivery onsite.
Coordinate work delivery and provide support for asset creation, asset disposal, and project close out requirements.
Facilitate the procure to pay process including purchase order management and receipting.
This position is for permanent full-time employment (38 hours per week), working Monday to Friday.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll be an organised and proactive facilities management professional with a strong service mindset.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in facilities management or comparable role at a site or sites of sufficient complexity.
Trade awareness and functional knowledge of building and maintenance systems including fire, electrical, HVAC,



and hydraulic.
Fluent in the use of asset management software.
Experience monitoring and navigating building management systems.
Experience implementing WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to triage and manage multi-task job priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Class C driver's license.
