About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fire Door and Passive Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors and passive fire protection systems, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
You will work closely with our major clients, delivering reliable service across a variety of client sites.
This role will require travel to client locations within Central Coast and Newcastle regions, where you will provide professional services, including:
Inspect, report, and service fire protection systems, fire/smoke doors, and other passive fire measures
Rectify defects in passive fire measures, including the replacement of fire and smoke doors
Install fire protection equipment in accordance with relevant Australian Standards
What we are looking for:
Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
Experience in the fire industry is preferred
White Card
NSW Drivers Licence
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and BCA
Proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
Experience with SimPRO or similar job management software is highly regarded
As a condition of employment, you must undergo a working with children check,



a police check, and a pre-employment medical
Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, or experience in fire door or passive fire protection testing
Carpentry trade qualifications
