Tasks & Responsibilities Regularly check the freshness and quality of ingredients before using them in food preparation Prepare and cook food orders according to Pinn's Palace recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements, minimizing waste while ensuring there are adequate supplies.
Adjust and monitor the temperatures of cooking appliances to guarantee optimal cooking conditions.
Portion food accurately and enhance its presentation with appropriate garnishes, ensuring each dish meets the restaurant's high presentation standards.
Store food items properly in temperature controlled facilities to maintain freshness and minimize spoilage.
Inform the Chef about larger quantities of stored food Train and mentor other kitchen staff,



sharing knowledge and skills to improve the team's overall performance.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the chefs.
Qualifications & experience
1 year work experience
Cert III in Commercial Cookery /Asian Cookery or Cert IV in Kitchen Management.
Deep knowledge of Asian ingredients, flavour profiles, and cooking techniques to enhance the authenticity and quality of dishes at Pinn's Palace.
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to high-quality food preparation
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
