About the role
Hushpak Engineering is seeking an experienced
Accessory Fitter
to join our team at our facility in Boolaroo, NSW ****.
This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for fitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and other accessories to vehicles with precision and expertise.
As an Accessory Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality workmanship and professional service.
Your attention to detail and technical skill will directly contribute to maintaining Hushpak Engineering's reputation for excellence in the industry.
What you'll be doing
Fitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and other automotive accessories to vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
Measuring, cutting and adapting materials to ensure proper fitment of accessories
Using hand and power tools safely and correctly to complete installation tasks
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met and addressing any issues promptly
Preparing vehicles for accessory installation, including protective coverings where necessary
Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicating effectively with team members and customers regarding project progress and any complications
Troubleshooting fitting issues and providing practical solutions
Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an Accessory Fitter or similar automotive fitting role within the trades industry.
Must have experience installing Automatic Grease Systems on Trucks and Earthmoving Equipment.
Experience with Window Tint would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of automotive accessories,
fitment techniques and industry best practices
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation manuals
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Sound understanding of health and safety requirements in an automotive workshop setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the working day
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive fitting (preferred but not essential if experience is extensive)
