We are
seeking a creative and motivated Communications and Content
Officer to join our corporate communications team.
In this
role, you will be responsible for developing compelling content,
managing communication channels, and driving engagement with key
stakeholders.
The
successful applicant shall develop and implement creative and
effective internal and external communications and engagement
activities (excluding media), and management of SMHS-wide
communications events for South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS),
its hospitals and services.

Suitability
Criteria: Suitability recognises that merit is determined not only
by skills, knowledge and experience, but also by a broader set of

These include an applicant's eligibility for appointment,

In addition to the Essential
Criteria and Desirable Criteria outlined in the attached Job
Description Form (JDF), the below requirements will also be
considered to determine your suitability for the
role:
Eligibility - Must
possess a tertiary qualification in communications, PR,
media or marketing.
Organisational
Requirement - Able to work between Rockingham General Hospital,
Peel Health Campus and Fiona Stanley Hospital
sites.
At least
three years' experience working within a PR, communications,
marketing or media role.
Able to
begin work in September ****.
Demonstrates initiative
by progressing work independently, seeking information when
needed, and following through to achieve outcomes.
