Talent Acquisition Specialist
supporting the recruitment of skilled trades and professionals across
Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP),
Project, Shutdowns, and Maintenance throughout Western Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys building strong candidate relationships, and understands the unique demands of the resourcing sector.
About the Role
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and securing high-quality talent to support SMP projects and shutdown works.
Working closely with the operations and project teams, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates ready to mobilise when required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job briefing through to onboarding.
Source and engage skilled blue-collar and white-collar candidates for SMP projects & Shutdowns.
Build and maintain talent pools for shutdown personnel, including: Boilermakers, Mechanical & Pipe Fitters, Riggers, Supervisors, Project Coordinators, Estimators.
Conduct phone screens and face to face interviews.
Coordinate pre-employment medicals, VOCs, inductions and mobilisation requirements.
Work closely with operational team to forecast labour requirements.
Develop proactive recruitment strategies to meet peak shutdown demands.




Build strong relationships with potential and current employees
Maintain accurate candidate records
Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
About You
You'll be a motivated recruiter with experience in high-volume industrial recruitment and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.
You'll ideally have:
Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience within mining, resources, construction or industrial services.
Strong knowledge of SMP, shutdown and maintenance workforces.
Experience recruiting for blue-collar trades.
Excellent sourcing and networking skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
High attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to work on site and at our Bunbury office from time to time
Desirable
Experience with mobilisation and compliance processes.
Knowledge of WA mining sites and shutdown schedules.
