Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader
to join our team.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a
dedicated and supportive Service Manager
in a family-owned service that is truly committed to creating positive outcomes for children, families and educators.
You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the service while inspiring quality educational practice across the team.
About the role
As our Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Service Manager to:
Support the daily operations and leadership of the service
Mentor, coach and inspire educators to grow in their practice
Lead and support the development of high-quality educational programs
Strengthen curriculum decision-making and reflective practice
Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies
Build genuine, respectful relationships with children and families
Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement
Help create a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
Step into leadership responsibilities when required
What we're looking for
We would love to hear from someone who:
Holds an approved Diploma or higher Early Childhood qualification
Has experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
Has strong knowledge of the EYLF,
National Quality Standard and National Regulations
Is passionate about mentoring and developing educators
Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships
Is organised, proactive and solutions-focused
Leads with warmth, professionalism and integrity
Wants to be part of a service where leadership is visible, supportive and genuinely invested in the team
