About the Role:
We seek an energetic, motivated and professional
Storeperson / MR Truck Driver
to join our team at Woodville North.
The main focus of your role involves the delivery of Aluminium Extrusions, Glass, Timber, Fabricated Product & Componentry locally with the occasionally delivery into regional South Australia.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of these goods utilising our MR Delivery Truck & Trailer.
This is a hands-on role which involves both warehouse and delivery duties.
Manual lifting
is required for the role.
If you can demonstrate you have sound knowledge and experience driving an
MR Truck & Forklift
, the successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time role, including a
Base Hourly Rate + Super + Overtime + Applicable Allowances
.
The base permanent hourly rate for this role is
$*****.
Valid Licences Required: MR Drivers Licence & Forklift Licence
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2:20pm, 38hrs per week




The Successful Applicant:
Must have a current
MR Heavy Vehicle Licence
with a clean driving record.
Must have valid Forklift Licence and experience loading and unloading trucks.
Previous experience driving with a Trailer.
A sound Knowledge and understanding of the Fatigue Management requirements.
Have the ability to correctly complete the NHVR - National Driver Work Diary.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to the schedule (load, pack, wrap, label).
An ability to inspect and maintain a clean vehicle.
Perform inventory controls and keep a high standard of quality checks.
General Forklift activities.
Physical fitness to lift and manoeuvre goods safely.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
