Support that continues when you're experienced
Clinical support shouldn't disappear once you're no longer a new graduate.
You'll receive
weekly clinical supervision and leadership support from our experienced Speech Pathology Clinical Lead
,
alongside regular opportunities for peer support, case discussion and collaboration with the broader iThrive team.
Our aim is to give clinicians genuine autonomy while ensuring there is always experienced support available when a case is complex or you simply want another perspective.

Your clinical work
Our Speech Pathologists work with children, adolescents and young adults across a broad range of communication needs.
You'll have the prospect to assess and provide individualised, evidence-informed therapy across areas including:
Speech sounds
– supporting articulation, speech clarity and confidence in communication
Language development

Early intervention
– supporting young children experiencing emerging communication difficulties
Literacy and phonological awareness
– developing the foundational language skills that support reading and writing
Social communication
– supporting clients to communicate, connect and participate more confidently in everyday settings
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
– supporting clients who benefit from alternative or additional ways to communicate
Our approach is individualised and practical, with therapy designed around each client's strengths, needs and goals.
You'll work closely with families, educators,
Occupational Therapists and other health professionals to help clients build communication skills that translate into everyday life at home, school and in the community.
Depending on your experience and clinical interests, there is scope to develop particular areas of expertise while maintaining a varied caseload across our 2–25 year age range.

About you
We're interested in hearing from Speech Pathologists who:
Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
Are eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Have experience working with paediatric and/or adolescent clients
Enjoy working collaboratively with families and other professionals
Value clinical quality, relationships and teamwork
Are comfortable working across both clinic and community settings
Want to contribute to a growing team rather than simply fill a position
You
do not need to already hold a Senior Speech Pathologist title
to apply.
If you're an experienced clinician who feels ready to take the next step, we'd be very happy to hear from you.
Likewise, if you're an established Senior Speech Pathologist looking for a role with clinical autonomy, leadership opportunities and the chance to help shape a new clinic, the position can be structured accordingly.
Preferred commencement: Monday, 19 October ****
, however we're happy to be flexible for the right person.
If you're looking for a Speech Pathology role where you can do excellent clinical work, be well supported and play a meaningful part in the growth of a new clinic, we'd love to hear from you.
