We have a Software Test Engineer opportunity within the Global Product and Solutions team, based in Belrose, collaborating with engineers to deliver industry‐leading software for warehouse automation projects.
Responsibilities
Drive global innovation with an industry leader in material handling and software engineering
Test high quality software for large scale warehouse automation projects
Be more than just a Tester: engineer end‐to‐end warehouse solutions that integrate material handling systems with state‐of‐the‐art software
Collaborate with innovative project engineers and contribute to game‐changing initiatives
Writing and executing test plans
Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects
Participate in code reviews
Plan and coordinate all testing activities
Provide leadership to other less experienced team members
Provide assistance to the IT Engineering group for customer support as required
Provide product expertise to support the sales process as required
Follow the Dematic development quality processes and procedures
Actively contribute to the improvement of software testing processes
Take an active role in the development team processes to improve product testability
Contribute to a development environment that fosters technical excellence and teamwork

Qualifications
3–4 years Software Test Engineering experience
A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
A solid understanding of .
NET, C# and SQL Server
Experience developing Test Automation and using scripting languages such as Ruby or Python
Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains
Positive written and verbal communication skills
A sound knowledge of MS Office applications
An understanding of OHS requirements
Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites throughout the Asia Pacific region during site commissioning stages (up to 2 months at a time)
A friendly and cooperative attitude
