The opportunity:
As a result of our existing and confirmed future opportunities in the land development, resources and infrastructure sectors, we are searching for an experienced, full-time environmental consultant to join our talented team in Bunbury.
Your role will primarily involve undertaking environmental reviews and preparing environmental impact assessments for land development, infrastructure and mining projects across Western Australia.

You'll be able to use your unique personality and intelligence to help us improve the way we undertake our assessments, and we'll ensure you have the training and opportunities you need to develop your career with us.
Key duties/responsibilities:
Interpret, understand and apply legislation and policies into technical reporting.
Undertaken environmental reviews using publicly available datasets, government databases, and published literature.
Prepare a range of reports and management plans to support environmental impact assessments and approvals under State and Commonwealth legislation.
Participate in land use planning processes and achieve balanced outcomes for the workplace and industry.
Develop solutions and management actions to address the environmental impacts of a project.
Communicate effectively with agencies, project teams and clients.
Perform basic spatial analyses using QGIS.
Deliver project management tasks (scheduling, time management, and budgeting).
Ensure written documentation is prepared to a high standard.




Prepare proposals and tenders.
What you'll need to fulfil the role:
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, Environmental Planning or related field of study.
Have 2-5 years of experience in environmental planning/approvals, ecology, or a related discipline.
Previous experience as a consultant (desirable).
Experience in the preparation of quality technical reports.
Current C Class driver's license and the ability to travel if required.
