EMBR Hospitality is looking for an experienced
Restaurant Manager
to join one of our venue teams and help deliver consistently high standards of service and hospitality.
This is a
hands-on, operational role
for someone who loves being on the floor, enjoys working alongside the team and understands how great communication between front of house and kitchen creates an exceptional guest experience.
Reporting to the
Venue Manager
, you will work closely with the entire venue team to coordinate day-to-day service, support front of house and ensure each service runs smoothly from start to finish.

About the Role
This is a
full-time, hands-on restaurant management position
with a roster that includes
evenings and weekends
.
As Restaurant Manager, you'll spend the majority of your time where it matters —
on the floor, working alongside the team and supporting service
.
You'll work closely with the Venue Manager, chefs and front-of-house team to make sure everyone is prepared and aligned for each service.
During service, you'll help coordinate the floor, communicate with the kitchen, support the team, engage with guests and respond to the changing needs of the restaurant.
Outside of service, you'll assist with the practical day-to-day requirements of running the venue, including team training, opening and closing procedures, stock,
beverage and general restaurant operations.
This role is about being part of the team, staying connected to what is happening on the floor and helping create consistently smooth and enjoyable services.
Key Responsibilities
Running and coordinating the restaurant floor during service
Working closely with the Venue Manager, chefs and FOH team to deliver smooth and consistent services
Supporting the front-of-house team throughout service
Maintaining high standards of hospitality, presentation and guest experience
Ensuring clear communication between front of house and kitchen
Conducting pre-service briefings and ensuring the team is prepared for service
Training and supporting front-of-house team members
Helping create a positive, professional and team-focused working environment
Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Supporting day-to-day rostering and team requirements
Supporting beverage stock control, ordering and inventory
Maintaining strong wine and beverage service standards
Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
Building relationships with regular guests and creating a welcoming restaurant environment
Supporting the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operational requirements of the venue
Working with the wider venue team to continually improve service and the guest experience
About You
We're looking for an experienced restaurant professional who
genuinely enjoys being on the floor and being part of service
.
You're someone who is happy to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team.
You're confident running a busy floor, comfortable communicating with the kitchen and able to keep service moving when things get busy.
You understand that great restaurant management isn't about standing on the sidelines — it's about being present, supporting the team and helping create an environment where everyone can do their best work.
You will ideally have:
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role
Solid experience in busy, quality-driven restaurant environments
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
Strong
wine and beverage knowledge
Excellent floor management and restaurant service skills
The ability to train, support and develop front-of-house team members
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across FOH and BOH
A calm, organised and solutions-focused approach during busy services
A collaborative, hands-on and team-first approach
RSA and RP certificates
Availability to work evenings and weekends
