About the role
This role provides commitment, leadership and support to all the Organization's HSE strategies and objectives and ensures that leadership and guidance is provided to all employees under your direct supervision, aiding in the achievement of business objectives
Under the general direction of the MEM Coordinator – the MEM Leading Hand will efficiently manage and direct the day to day works of the MEM Workshop including all team members
This role requires you to:
Adhere to all Company Safety, Health and Environmental Policies and Procedures




Direct activities related to the effective operations of the MEM Workshop including serve as contact person for all workers within MEM Workshop
Organise and communicate with Logistics on asset availability for maintenance and job completion to ensure all stakeholders are aware of works progress.
Plan, organise and manage the work of team members, ensuring works are accomplished in a timely manner and to a high standard.
Lead and Mentor apprentices and new employees, passing on knowledge and setting an example of Wren Oil expectations
Provide direction to staff for thorough investigation of assets that enter the MEM Workshop, recognising issues and issuing work orders / rectification orders
Assist in correct identification of replacement parts including the capture and reporting of parts usage on work orders
Responsible for spare parts stock on hand to assist in maximising efficiencies and minimise asset downtime.
Ability to prioritise works in quick paced environment with the intention of maximising asset availability.
General Housekeeping of work areas, including complete area clean after cessation of any works
About you
Trade qualified with ability to demonstrate a level of efficiency and quality expected of a first-class tradesperson
One (1) to Five (5)



years' experience in similar role
(preferable not essential)
Previous Volvo training or experience is desirable, though not essential
.
Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's License
(minimum) – (HR Preferred)
