This is an exciting opportunity to join NRW Civil & Mining as an
HSE Administrator, supporting our HSE team across our mining
operations.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative and
coordination support to the HSE function, assisting with the
maintenance of HSE documentation, registers, reporting and systems.
Working closely with HSE personnel, project teams, supervisors and
employees, you will help ensure HSE information is accurate, up to
date and readily accessible.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented
administrator looking to develop their career within a Health,
Safety and Environment function in the Mining industry.
To be considered for these positions you must possess
the following as a minimum:
Previous experience in an administration or coordination
role, preferably within the Civil, Mining, Construction or
Resources industries
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of
attention to detail
Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft
Office
Ability to maintain accurate records and manage
confidential information
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise
competing tasks
Ability to work effectively with a range of
stakeholders
A strong commitment to supporting a safe and compliant work
environment
As a HSE Administrator reporting to the Project Manager,
you will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support to the HSE team and
project personnel
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HSE registers, records,
databases and reporting systems
Assisting with the preparation,
formatting, distribution
and filing of HSE documentation
Assisting with the recording and administration of
incidents, hazards, observations and corrective actions
Maintaining HSE action and corrective action registers and
following up outstanding actions
Assisting with the preparation of regular HSE reports,
statistics and presentations
Compiling and maintaining required HSE project
documentation
Supporting the coordination and administration of HSE
meetings, toolbox meetings and training activities
Assisting with the maintenance of employee training,
competency, induction and certification records
Assisting HSE personnel with the coordination of audits,
inspections and compliance activities
Supporting the distribution of HSE alerts, procedures,
communications and other relevant documentation
Maintaining document control processes to ensure current
HSE documentation is available to relevant personnel
Assisting with the administration and maintenance of
project risk registers and associated action plans
Providing administrative support for incident
investigations and ensuring relevant documentation is
maintained
Ensuring HSE performance information is entered into
relevant systems accurately
Liaising with project teams and employees to obtain
information and ensure HSE records are complete and
accurate
Providing general administrative assistance to support the
effective delivery of HSE processes across projects
Performing any additional tasks as directed which are
within your skill, qualification and competence level
