YEM Technology is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMPE&I; construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.
Since ****, YEM has been proudly servicing the Sino Iron Project, the largest magnetite operation in Australia, as the principal contractor on site.

About the Role
This is a permanent and casual prospect based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (one week days, one week nights, one week off).
Shifts are 12 hours including a 30 minute paid lunch break.
What You Will Be Doing
Performing maintenance, repair and installation of fixed plant equipment
Diagnosing faults and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
Contributing to safe and efficient shutdown execution




Working within a skilled, integrated maintenance team
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
HRWL: Elevated Work Platform (WP)
Working at Heights (WAH)
Confined Space Entry (CSE)
White Card
Valid C Class driver's licence
Full Australian Working Rights
Must be clean shaven and able to wear a respirator mask (3M **** or equivalent)
Desirable:
HRWL: Basic Rigging (RB) or higher
HRWL: Dogging (DG)
First Aid / CPR
Previous FIFO or mining experience
