We're currently seeking a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our GMHBA Dental Care team at our Geelong Health Hub, in a permanent part-time role working 32 hours per week.

About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting our clinicians to provide high-quality dental services.
You'll work closely with our dental team to ensure patients have a positive and comfortable experience from the moment they arrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Assisting with digital radiography (X-rays)
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
Sterilisation and maintenance of instruments and equipment
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and restocking surgeries
Supporting reception functions including appointments, enquiries, and payments




Assisting with laboratory work and clinical administration
Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff
About You
You are a proactive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, patient-centred approach
Strong organisational and time-management skills
The ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
Desirable Qualifications
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting, or
Relevant on-the-job dental assisting experience
