About the role
Catholic Homes is seeking a passionate and motivated Cook to join our team at St Vincent's Residential Aged Care Facility.
This is a
part time opportunity
, working approximately
2 days per week

Located on the banks of the Swan River in historic Guildford, St Vincent's offers a modern aged care environment with a strong sense of community.
You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on helping residents maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life through compassionate, person-centred care.

About you
You embody Catholic Homes values of love, hospitality, excellence and joy, and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming and respectful environment where residents feel valued, supported.
In addition, you will have:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
Certificate in Food Safety Supervision.
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Cook within the Aged Care sector.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support Food Services team members.
Sound understanding of food safety principles and relevant food safety regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in food ordering, stock management, and delivering quality services within budget requirements.
A genuine passion for and commitment to supporting older people.
Knowledge of texture-modified diets, allergy management, and the preparation of meals that meet a range of dietary requirements.
