About you:
We are looking for a leader who is self-driven and possesses the following skills and experience:
Electrical Trade Certificate
from TAFE NSW (or equivalent certification).
NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate – Electrical
(or equivalent certification).
Minimum 5 years'
trade experience
and
electrical installation work
in a manufacturing environment - experience in the manufacture or support of electrical equipment used in underground coal mines preferred.
Previous experience in
supervising
teams
of electrical trades people.
Developing, implementing and overseeing workplace processes and procedures, including safe work methods
Demonstrated experience in liaising and/or negotiating with engineering personnel on project scope and corrective actions
A strong commitment to safety and quality
Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as required
Your role:
This position is responsible for -
Effectively
leading a team
of electrical personnel in manufacturing quality switchgear and control assemblies.
Support the Electrical Operations & Projects by aiding in the
development of processes and procedures
, for workplace safety and manufacturing, which lead to safe, efficient and cost effective production to agreed timelines.
Plan, organise and supervise multiple manufacturing projects
and tasks, ensuring on-time production to required standards and compliance.
