About the role
Ironman 4x4 is seeking a skilled and experienced 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our team in Woodville SA .
This is a full-time position.
As a 4WD Accessory Fitter, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations and modifications to four-wheel drive vehicles.
You will be responsible for fitting a wide range of accessories and components to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain Ironman 4x4's reputation for excellence in the automotive trades industry.
Key responsibilities
Fitting and installing a variety of 4WD accessories including bullbars, bull bars, roof racks, snorkels, suspension components, and other aftermarket modifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and installation manuals to ensure accurate fitment
Diagnosing and troubleshooting fitment issues and providing solutions to ensure quality outcomes
Preparing vehicles for accessory installation, including protective coverings and securing vehicles safely
Using specialised tools and equipment to complete installations to manufacturer specifications
Conducting quality inspections of completed work to ensure all accessories are fitted correctly and safely
Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
Communicating with customers regarding installation progress, timelines and any additional recommendations
Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used
Staying up-to-date with new products, installation techniques and industry best practices
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a 4WD Accessory Fitter or similar automotive fitting role within the trades and services industry
Strong knowledge of 4WD vehicles, their components and common aftermarket accessories
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and specialised automotive equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and installation instructions accurately
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship




Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different vehicle models and fitment challenges
A valid driver's licence and ability to drive various vehicle types safely
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards in the workplace
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive fitting or trade qualifications (preferred but not essential)
Experience with vehicle modifications and aftermarket installations (advantageous)
