About the role:
At Carinity Education – Shalom Townsville, we're committed to
providing a supportive and inclusive learning setting where
every student can thrive.
The senior Office Coordinator oversees
the two Primary and Secondary administration offices.
In this position, you will ensure consistency of communication
and practice from and between administration offices.
You will also
perform school administrative functions, responding to needs and
requests from staff, leaders, students, parents and the community
in support of the provision of a quality and rich Christian
education experience for marginalised young people.
This role
liaises with business administration personnel at Carinity Head
Office in Brisbane.
This position reports to the Director of School Campus and
coordinates enrolments across the primary and secondary school,
maintains student records and data integrity, ensures compliance
with government reporting requirements, manages interschool
transfer documentation, and maintains up to date administrative
procedures and handbooks.
You will also oversee school calendars,
ensure accurate recording of student and staff data in relevant
systems, and support effective financial administrative and
management practices.
Availability is required Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and
4:00 PM.
What do you need for the role?
Diploma level qualification or higher in a relevant field
(Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or other
relevant field)
Demonstrated experience in leading a small team is highly
desirable
Demonstrated experience in administrative office
procedures, preferably within a secondary school
environment
Demonstrated experience working with a wide range of
information systems, including financial systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and highly developed verbal
and written communication skills
Knowledge and skills in the use of the Microsoft Office
suite
Experience with TASS management software is
advantageous
Current Working with Children check (Blue Card)
