Fellow - Pain Management
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12
months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from
this pool until 31/12/2026.
Appointments for this position will not
commence until ****.
Salary:
MP Year 1-2 $188,817 - $198,142 p.a. (plus 12% superannuation and
professional development allowance)
Position Profile:The Fellow in Colorectal &
Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Surgery is a post-FRACS position based
within the Colorectal Surgical Service (General Surgical Unit II)
at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
This role provides advanced
subspecialty training and experience in colorectal and
retroperitoneal sarcoma surgery within a tertiary referral
centre.
The
successful applicant will participate in elective operating lists,
outpatient clinics, inpatient management, multidisciplinary care,
teaching and supervision of junior medical staff, and the General
Surgery emergency on-call roster.
The Fellow will also contribute
to the day-to-day coordination of the unit and work closely with
specialist colorectal and sarcoma surgeons.
This
position offers an excellent opportunity for surgeons seeking
advanced colorectal surgical training in a high-volume tertiary
service.
