The Role
We are seeking a motivated and career-driven
Graduate Engineer
to join our team.
This role offers exposure to project management, site operations and stakeholder engagement across a variety of projects.
Working as part of an experienced team, you will spend approximately 70% of your time onsite managing and maintaining Automated Dewatering Systems across a range of Tier 1 construction projects.
Previous experience in automated dewatering is desirable but not essential, with full training and ongoing support provided to the right candidate.
Role Focus:
Assist with planning and coordination of daily site activities
Managing and maintaining Automated Dewatering Systems when required
Interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation
Prepare and manage ITPs, SWMS reviews, permits and quality documentation
Conduct site set-outs and verify survey data
Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance
Track project costs, variations and progress claims
Maintain accurate records including site diaries and reports
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with safety, quality and environmental standards
Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers
Adhere to all Company and legislative WHS policies and procedures
Collaborate with the wider Project team to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Adapt to different working hours and shift schedules as required by the Project.
Ability to work extended hours and travel away from home from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Solid communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint a must)
Exposure to Bluebeam, SharePoint, SoildWorks, ANSYS (preferred)
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
