About the role
The Joint Replacement Clinic is looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused
Registered Nurse
to support our Orthopaedic Surgeons and help deliver an exceptional patient experience.
This is a fixed-term position of approximately 6 months, covering a period of parental leave.

You'll be part of a respected, high-performing specialist clinic known for its complete joint replacement care pathway — supporting patients at every step, from initial consultation through surgery, recovery, physiotherapy and beyond.
This role offers genuine variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
This is a clinical position to support the daily operations of our business such as consultations, onboarding, patient management, services coordination, wound clinics and hospital visits.
You'll be working within a small clinical team, but will be an important support for Surgeons, patients and the administration team and a reliable key contributor to the smooth running of the practice.
Key responsibilities
Conduct onboarding phone calls with patients, provide guidance and education on the JRC pathway model and coordinate their care
Conduct independent wound clinics for a variety of surgical procedures
Collect relevant medical information prior to surgical consultations
Conduct hospital visits in operating hospitals post-operatively
Make quick decisions and escalate necessary care in a timely manner
Accurately and efficiently document in software systems
Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal staff and external companies/hospitals to coordinate patient care
About you

Requirements
Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 2 years Hospital/Ward/Theatre experience
