About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader Group's Rail Services division are currently seeking Locomotive Fitters to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on 2/2 & 8/8 FIFO rosters.
This is a FIFO role ex.
Perth, interstate candidates are encouraged to apply.
Primarily this role will be focused working within our Rail maintenance specialisation with roles working on a wide range of Locomotive makes & models - you name it, we work on it!
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance, servicing and repairs on locomotives and rollingstock
Fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical systems
Preventative maintenance and breakdown support
Conducting inspections and identifying defects
Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards
Accurate completion of maintenance documentation
What do I need to join?




Previous Locomotive experience is required
Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or similar
Drivers Licence
National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Strong commitment towards safety and quality
