As our services continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our team and provide high-quality clinical and community nursing support to people with disability.
This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, healthcare and allied health professionals to ensure participants with complex or ongoing clinical needs receive safe, person-centred and consistent care.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in supporting participants with clinical needs and helping our care team deliver safe and effective support
This is a
casual position
with weekday availability required for at least
2–3 days per week
, between
9:00 am and 5:00 pm
.
Adaptable working arrangements may be available depending on participant needs and service requirements.
Key responsibilities
Developing and reviewing
individualised care plans
for participants with clinical and complex support needs.
Providing
community nursing services
, including wound assessment and wound care.
Supporting
medication management and administration
in accordance with relevant clinical requirements and participant care plans.
Assessing participants' health needs and identifying changes that may require
clinical intervention or escalation
.
Supporting
meal planning and nutrition-related needs
, in collaboration with participants and relevant health professionals.
Providing guidance,
education and clinical support to
Disability Support Workers and the wider care team
.
Supporting participants with
complex and critical health needs
, ensuring appropriate monitoring, documentation and escalation.
Liaising with
GPs, allied health professionals, families, support coordinators and other healthcare providers
to promote continuity of care.
Maintaining accurate
clinical records, progress notes, assessments and care documentation
.
Promoting
participant choice, dignity, independence and quality of life
while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
Identifying and reporting
clinical risks, incidents, deterioration and safeguarding concerns
in a timely and professional manner.
Contributing to a strong culture of
clinical governance, safe practice and continuous improvement
.
Skills, Qualification and Experience
Degree or master's in nursing.
Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical nursing, preferably in disability, community, or aged care settings
Demonstrated ability to apply the IDDS framework (Intellectual Disability and Dementia Services) in participant care
Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NDIS Practice Standards, including clinical compliance, restrictive practices, risk assessment, and participant safeguarding
Certificate in Medication Administration Training or equivalent
Current First Aid & CPR
Current Working with Children Check
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Infection Prevention & Infection Certificate
MAPA training not mandatory but desirable
About You
Registered with AHPRA
and able to practise as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
Experienced in
community nursing, disability, aged care or complex care environments
.
Confident providing clinical support to participants with
complex or high support needs
.
Skilled in
wound care, medication management and clinical assessment
.
A strong communicator who can work effectively with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Compassionate, respectful and committed to
person-centred care
.
Well organised, reliable and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Committed to maintaining
professional standards, clinical documentation and participant safety
.
