About the role
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone from an automotive, truck, bus, heavy vehicle or machinery parts background who is ready to step up and take greater responsibility.
Key responsibilities
Parts interpretation and customer enquiries
Preparing quotes and processing orders
Stock control, receiving and dispatch
Coordinating freight throughout Australia
Liaising with customers, suppliers and manufacturers
Supporting the Parts Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department
Taking charge of the Parts Department when required
About you
Has previous automotive/heavy vehicle parts experience
Has solid parts interpretation and mechanical aptitude
Is organised, confident and customer focused
Takes ownership and follows enquiries through to completion
Is comfortable working in a busy, practical environment
Bus and coach industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
