About the role
Ibis Styles Canberra, Narrabundah is looking for a friendly, professional and customer-focused Casual Guest Service Agent (GSA) to join our Front Office team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience from check-in through to departure.
Key responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide friendly and professional service
Complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints in a professional manner
Manage reservations, room allocations and guest accounts
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and other hotel departments
Assist with maintaining a smooth and efficient Front Office operation
Ensure all guests receive a positive and memorable experience
About you
Has previous hotel Front Office or Guest Service experience
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is well presented, reliable and professional
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Is confident handling guest enquiries and resolving issues
Is flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
