An exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Parts Interpreter to join our small team in Export Park, SA.
The Spare Parts Interpreter will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely handling of all parts inquiries and quotes
Responsible for providing outstanding customer support, coordinating parts orders, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records
This position requires a high level of independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients' needs are met with the highest level of professionalism
Responsibilities:
Monitor and promptly respond to phone and email inquiries from customers
Provide accurate quotes for spare parts and obtain customer purchase orders
Enter customer orders, raise delivery dockets, stock transfers, and invoices
Coordinate with suppliers to order parts for internal and customer orders and arrange collection if necessary
Generate spare parts invoices on a weekly basis and reconcile outstanding orders
Process warranty claims with suppliers and coordinate the receipt of replacement parts
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering workplace
Forklift license is highly desirable




Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving while keeping the manager informed
