About the role:
At Carinity – Illoura, we are passionate about empowering community members and supporting individuals to build confidence, skills, and pathways toward a brighter future.
As our Learning Centre Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating the Learning Centre, Community Work Skills, and Get Set for Work Programs, creating meaningful opportunities for participants to learn, grow, and thrive.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, community organisations, businesses, and service providers, you will develop and deliver innovative programs and activities that make a genuine difference in people's lives.
You will provide leadership, foster robust partnerships, and help create a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can achieve their goals.
In this rewarding role, you will facilitate Vocational Education and Training (VET), employment, and wellbeing programs for community members who may face barriers to education and employment.
Using a strengths-based, person-centred approach, you will empower participants to build on their abilities, overcome challenges, and take positive steps toward sustainable employment, further education, and personal success.

What do you need for the role?
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is advantageous
Demonstrated experience in the education or training sector
Experience delivering Certificates in Vocational Education and Training (VET)
Detailed knowledge of legislation, principles, and policies relevant to the education and employment sectors
Knowledge of the principles of education and training with respect to people with learning needs, disadvantage, and disengagement
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT) Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiatives
Highly developed interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card
