We have a temporary full-time appointment commencing 15 September **** until 15 September **** with the possibility of permanency in the future.
About the roleMany Aboriginal learners carry significant cultural, environmental and land management knowledge that is not formally recognised within nationally accredited qualifications, limiting engagement, progression and skills recognition particularly in land management, cultural heritage protection and eco-tourism sectors.
In partnership with other TAFEs, Central Regional TAFE is leading a project to design and pilot Australia's first National On-Country VET Framework for Recognising Traditional Knowledge, enabling Traditional Knowledge to be validated and assessed alongside contemporary vocational competencies while maintaining national training package and quality assurance requirements.
The Project Coordinator coordinates day-to-day delivery of the National On-Country VET Framework for Recognising Traditional Knowledge project for the College, working in partnership with other staff and contributors, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and supporting the Project Manager in delivery against project milestones and funding requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will bring solid coordination and organisational skills, experience supporting complex multi-stakeholder projects, and the ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

To be considered eligible for employment, you must possess current and valid Australian work rights, such as Australian citizenship,



permanent residency or an appropriate working visa.

You must also hold, or have the ability to obtain, a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
Appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of any mandatory pre-employment screening requirements.
