We're seeking both an experienced Pump Fitter or Machinist to join a well-established OEM manufacturer and service provider with operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The RoleWorking within a busy service department, you'll be responsible for the overhaul, inspection, refurbishment, and testing of pumps and rotating equipment.
Duties include:
Stripping and rebuilding pumps
Inspection and fault diagnosis
Bearing assembly and fitting
Precision measurement and quality checks
Refurbishment and maintenance activities
Reading technical drawings and maintenance documentation
Testing and commissioning equipment
Maintaining high workshop safety and quality standards




About YouWe're looking for candidates who have:
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or Fitter & Turner or equivalent preferred)
Previous pump rebuild or servicing experience
Experience working on rotating equipment
Strong fault-finding and mechanical fitting skills
Competency using micrometers, verniers and other precision measuring equipment
Experience working to tight tolerances
Robust commitment to safety and quality
Highly RegardedOEM pump experience
Slurry pump experience
Wastewater pump experience
Manufacturing or engineering workshop background
