About us
We are a proud Western Australian success story and a family centred practice.
TSH (formerly Telethon Speech & Hearing) provides integrated services for children with hearing loss and/or speech and language difficulties from newborns to 18-year-olds.
A team of education professionals work collaboratively alongside allied health professionals to empower children to hear, communicate, connect and learn.
For 15 years, the TSH Chevron Pilbara Ear Health Program has worked with children, families and communities across the West Pilbara to support healthy ears, hearing, communication and learning.
Based in Karratha, we connect families with screening, clinical and specialist care and ongoing support so children can thrive at school and in community.
About the role
We're looking for a Casual Ear Health Support Officer who values community connection, builds trusted relationships and is passionate about working alongside families to support their ear health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
Screening and early support – supporting ear health screening and helping children and families connect with the right care early.
Clinic support – working alongside families to access our clinical services program with confidence
Community connection and support – building trusted relationships, sharing knowledge and supporting families and community to make choices about ear health and wellbeing
About you




You will be a nurturing and inclusive individual who has excellent administrative skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships within the community.
Previous experience in a similar role is valued but not essential.
Flexibility with working hours and ability to travel throughout Karratha and surrounding areas
Experience working with children and families from a range of backgrounds
Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), WA Drivers License and Police Clearance
