About the Role

/n

Queensland Drilling & Blasting Services (QDBS) is seeking an experienced Top Hammer Blast Hole Drill Operator to join our growing team.

/n

We are currently recruiting for one position across the following locations and rosters:

/n

/n

- Townsville & Cairns

/n

- Monday- Friday

/n/n

Equipment

/n

You will be operating modern, well-maintained Epiroc equipment, including:

/n

/n

- T40 Smart Roc (experience highly regarded)

/n

- T35 Power Roc

/n

- T45 Power Roc

/n/n

About You

/n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n

- Proven experience in quarrying or mining operations

/n

- Experience operating Top Hammer drill rigs (T40 Smart Roc / T35 / T45 Power Roc)

/n

- Strong time management and ability to work unsupervised

/n

- Positive understanding of maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting (e.g.



changing hoses)

/n

- Clear communication skills and ability to complete paperwork

/n

- A proactive, reliable attitude with a strong can-do mindset

/n/n

Requirements

/n

/n

- White Card

/n

- Current Driver's Licence

/n

- Coal Board Medical (can be arranged)

/n

- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing

/n/n

Certificate III in Drilling Operations is highly regarded but not essential.
