Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading mining organisation supporting a portfolio of sustaining capital and growth projects across their operations. This role will initially be Perth based transitioning to a 4/3 FIFO site roster from August.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end technical and project delivery support across electrical engineering works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

/n

You will be involved across all phases of project delivery, from concept and scoping through to execution and commissioning, contributing to strong governance, cost control, and schedule performance.

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

- Provide technical input and develop, review, and manage scopes of work

/n

- Support delivery of electrical engineering projects from concept through to commissioning

/n

- Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams

/n

- Manage and support project controls including risks, variations, TQs, RFIs, and action registers

/n





- Monitor and report on cost, schedule, and quality performance

/n

- Assist with preparation and administration of tender and contract documentation

/n

- Support contractor management and site-based construction activities

/n

- Contribute to capital cost estimates and commercial reporting requirements

/n

- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards

/n

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors

Skills & Experience:

/n

/n

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

/n

- Proven experience in heavy industry or mining construction environments

/n

- Robust background in project scoping, planning, scheduling, and delivery monitoring

/n

- Experience preparing tender documentation and managing procurement processes

/n

- Exposure to contractor management and site-based execution activities

/n

- Desirable: Project Management training or certification
