Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality care to paediatric and neonatal patients

/n

- Participate in on-call roster, providing acute and emergency support

/n

- Lead and mentor junior doctors and contribute to their professional development

/n

- Support service improvement, governance, and clinical innovation

/n

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the region

/n

- Provide outreach clinics to surrounding regional and remote communities

/n

- Uphold culturally safe, equitable care for Aboriginal children and families

/n/n

About You

/n

/n

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics, or equivalent

/n

- AHPRA Specialist Registration (or eligibility to obtain)

/n

- Solid expertise in acute and chronic paediatric medicine

/n

- Experience and interest in neonatal care, developmental paediatrics, and community health

/n

- A supportive leadership style with a passion for teaching, supervising and mentoring junior doctors

/n

- Resilience,



adaptability, and confidence in managing complex or remote-care scenarios

/n

- A commitment to improving health outcomes for First Nations children

/n
