With continued growth across the business, we are seeking a motivated Electrical Systems Tester to join our expanding Service & Maintenance team.

The Role

This role is responsible for the inspection, testing, servicing and reporting of electrical fire protection systems across a broad range of client sites. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure systems remain compliant, functional and safe.

Key Responsibilities

- Routine inspection and testing of:
– Fire detection systems
– Occupant Warning & EWIS
– Intercommunication systems
– Emergency & Exit lighting
– Gas suppression systems

- Completing annual servicing and testing of electrical systems

- Conducting site audits and AS1851 inspections

- Identifying defects, documenting findings and proposing solutions

- Accurate reporting and use of testing apps/software

- Working autonomously while maintaining professional client interactions

What You Bring

- Minimum 1 year experience testing electrical fire protection systems (3–5 years highly regarded)





- Strong knowledge of AS1670, AS1851 and relevant installation standards

- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance

- Police Clearance

- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (manual licence preferred)

- Comfortable using mobile apps for logging tests, defects and reports
