- Assembling cabinets and furniture, fitting hardware and accessories

- Sanding, preparing and finishing surfaces (stain, varnish, paint, laminate)

- Repairing or modifying existing cabinetry or furniture as needed

- Checking quality and accuracy of work, and maintaining a clean, safe workshop

Why Join Us?

You’ll work in a stimulating environment on exclusive, high-quality projects that will help you further develop your skills and craftsmanship.

We offer:

- Competitive pay well above industry standards

- Excellent team environment

- Weekly Friday BBQ lunch

- Early 1 pm close on Fridays

- A rewarding remuneration package tailored to your experience and contribution

About You

Along with a solid work ethic, you’ll have:

- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Cabinet Making / Joinery or equivalent) and proven cabinetmaking experience

- Strong focus on safety, reliability and pride in workmanship

- Full Australian working rights and reside within reasonable distance of the workshop in Beaconsfield

- Confident use of hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery (panel saws, edge banders, routers, sanders)

- Own basic tools and transport - Current driver’s licence

- Skilled in assembling and installing cabinetry/joinery (kitchens, wardrobes, shopfitting, etc.) to a high standard

- Able to work independently and in a team, meet deadlines and communicate professionally

How to Apply

Join us at Handwerk and bring your craft to a team that genuinely values quality, pride in workmanship, and long-term careers. Please apply via SEEK today, attach a brief cover letter, along with your up-to-date resume, outlining your recent experience.
