About the Opportunity

As the Change Manager for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Organisation Change Management strategy, designing and implementing Organisational Change Management practices, processes, and conduct activities in line within the Program Capability Strategy Plan and Transformation Plans.

What’s Involved

- Establish and maintain Organisational Change Management strategy, plan, and framework
- Design and implement change management practices and process tools and activities
- Change management of projects and initiatives.
- Technical and leadership development of Change Champions, Project Managers, and ADA Leadership Team
- Develop change management metrics to enable measurement of success

You’ll Need

- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management skills,



including experience managing change management communications
- Robust project management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Application of Organisation Change Management methodologies and frameworks
- Minimum 8+ years experience leading, facilitating and managing change in complex organisational environments, including setting change management strategies and the design and implementation of change management practices, processes and activities
- Demonstrated experience in mapping change requirements for organisational culture, governance, capabilities, skills and roles
- Competent in developing maturity mapping and development planning
- Adept in design and delivery of sustainable change in a long term, complex transformation setting
- Confident in communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from enterprise management to front line staff
- Proven experience in growing a change management team in a maturing organisation
- Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
