We are an award-winning Australian online FX & CFD trading platform. Since 2013, ETO Group has been fully regulated by ASIC. As our business continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team.

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to grow with us from the ground up. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure across a broad range of accounting and finance functions, including daily reconciliations, financial data analysis, client money accounting, regulatory reporting support, and system-based financial controls.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

- Maintain the general ledger, journals, accruals, and prepayments

- Perform bank and payment provider reconciliations (local and offshore accounts)

- Support year-end financial statements and external audits

- Maintain and reconcile client money trust accounts in accordance with ASIC Client Money Reporting Rules

- Monitor daily segregation of client funds vs company funds

- Prepare daily and monthly client money reconciliations and regulatory reports





- Liaise with compliance and operations teams to resolve reconciliation discrepancies

- Review settlement data for accuracy

- Process daily funds Report and reconciliation

- Clients commission/rebate calculation and checking

- Responsible for customer withdrawals and payment channels

- Cross check deposit and withdraw processing to ensure accounts are set up correctly and in line with internal procedures

- Generate Analysis reports to support business goals

- Ad hoc finance duties

Skills and requirements:

- 3+ years accounting or settlement related experience

- Experience working under ASIC framework highly regarded

- Great attention to detail

- Valuable with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

- Experience in MS Office would be a plus

- Good in English

- Fluent mandarin speaking desirable
